Routine Check-Up Services
Once a year you should take your pet to our clinic for a routine check-up. When you do, you can expect us to provide a full physical exam. This physical exam will allow us to check your loved one from head to tail. If we come across anything out of the ordinary, we’ll thoroughly explain our findings and propose a plan of action.
What to Bring
When you come in for your initial visit, please bring in any medical history you have on your pet so that we can get a full understanding of his or her background. We also recommend keeping a journal of your pet’s health throughout his or her life, including any shifts in behavior you may notice.
Any information you have would be helpful, especially:
- Medical history
- Past surgery documentation
- Essential vaccination records
If you don’t have this information, we ask that you simply inform our vets of everything you do know about your pet’s history. If you adopted your pet from a shelter, they should have your pet’s medical file, and if you’ve seen another vet, they can simply mail or fax over the records. If you’re new to our clinic, complete our new patient and new client forms.
In some circumstances, it might be necessary to refer you to an area specialist who has advanced experience in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.
